The Bolt 6 TX Monitor Module is a real-time wireless video transmitter that supports 4K video with Teradek’s patented Zero-Delay technology, now with less interference using the newly opened 6GHz wireless frequency. This Receiver Monitor Module integrates directly with the SmallHD Smart 7 Monitor Series. Send color-accurate, 4K HDR videos in under 0.001 seconds.
The Bolt 6 Transmitter Monitor Module easily attaches to the back of SmallHD’s Cine 7, 702 Touch, and Indie 7 Smart Monitors. With direct integration, the Bolt 6 and Smart monitor are able to share power and video, allowing you to reduce the amount of cables on set.
Key features of the Bolt 6 TX Monitor Module include range options designed for a variety of production needs, fast reconnection times, intuitive and easy setup with the Bolt Manager App for iOS or Android, and consistent, stable connectivity. The Bolt 6 series utilizes the 6GHz band to give users better image quality and reduced interference. And when used in high-traffic areas, 6GHz wireless frequency gives Bolt 6 users more options for frequency adjustments with 12 new channels. Bolt 6 can also pass metadata, timecode, and start/stop flags from most camera manufacturers.
With the Bolt 6 Monitor Module, Wireless Camera-Control is also made possible, because it integrates directly into SmallHD Smart Monitors. Bolt 6 also offers new tools for high-end users to have better visibility over their connections and signals, adding confidence to the workflow no matter how challenging the environment.
The Bolt 6 TX Monitor Module is cross-compatible with the entire Bolt 4K Series – including Bolt 4K, Bolt 4K LT, and the Bolt 4K Monitor Modules – giving you the option to expand your workflow requirements. Link up to 6 receivers to one transmitter, or unlimited receivers when used in Broadcast Mode (available on MAX models).
Bolt 6 Transmitter Monitor Module offers three line-of-sight options: 750 ft., 1500 ft., and the MAX Set, which can be configured for up to 5,000+ ft. Additionally, you can upgrade your set to include Gold or V-Mount Battery plates.
Wifi routers, cell phones, IOT devices, and competitor wireless video systems are among the many devices that use the 5GHz frequency to communicate wirelessly, making it a highly crowded space where you’ll likely encounter frequent interference and even video dropouts. Bolt 6 uses the newly opened 6GHz wireless frequency for a dramatically quieter wireless environment (though it can still be set up in 5GHz Mode for backwards compatibility). In 6GHz Mode, Bolt 6 users will access faster connections and less interference for a better wireless experience. 6GHz frequency is now available in the US and Canada under UNII-5 government specifications. More countries will open the 6GHz frequency in 2023.
