The S-8D58 is a 7.2V Li-ion DV battery designed as a direct replacement for Panasonic VW-VBD58 and AG-VBR59 batteries. With a 43Wh (6000mAh) capacity, it powers cameras like the Panasonic AU-EVA1, AG-DVX200, and AJ-PX270/285 for over two hours of continuous shooting. The battery features a 5.5/2.1mm pole-tap DC output socket (7.2V, max 30W/4A) for powering accessories such as LED lights, monitors, or wireless transmitters simultaneously with the camera.

Additionally, the S-8D58 includes a 5V/1A USB output, allowing it to function as a power bank for smartphones or tablets. A 4-level LED indicator provides real-time battery status. It can be charged using Panasonic’s DE-A88 charger or SWIT’s S-3602D dual charger and LC-D421 4-channel charger, with a full charge time of approximately 4 hours.
