Green-Go Switch 8.1

The Green‑GO Switch 8.1 is designed to integrate a Green‑GO communications system into an existing Ethernet infrastructure while supplying Power over Ethernet to connected outstations. On the front panel, eight 10/100 Mbps PoE ports with rugged RJ45 EtherCON connectors provide reliable power and transport for intercom traffic, and an additional 10/100 Mbps EtherCON port on the rear enables a clean uplink or distribution path that simplifies show‑network expansion without introducing bottlenecks.

Engineered for production environments where silence and stability are essential, the Switch 8.1 occupies a single 19 inch rack unit and operates without any fans. Its high performance switching engine maintains throughput under mixed protocol loads and reduces the risk of network slowdowns or data crashes during busy events, making it a dependable backbone for Green‑GO systems in venues, studios and touring racks.

Electrical integration is straightforward with a powerCON TRUE1 mains connector and cable connector supplied, supporting global voltages from 100 to 230 V AC. The chassis is compact and road ready at 485 by 150 by 45 millimetres with a mass of 2 kilograms, and the EtherCON connectors provide the mechanical resilience required for frequent setup and teardown.

Beyond port count and power delivery, the Switch 8.1 supports creating virtual networks that communicate via trunking, helping teams separate intercom, control and program audio segments while maintaining interconnectivity where needed. Purpose built for live entertainment and broadcast applications, it delivers an optimized Layer 2 foundation for Green‑GO deployments.
