The Datavideo PTC-285T is a professional 4K auto-tracking PTZ camera with integrated HDBaseT technology, designed for live production, corporate environments, education, houses of worship, and broadcast applications. Featuring a high-quality 1/2.8" Sony CMOS sensor and a 12x optical zoom lens, the camera delivers Ultra HD video at up to 2160p50/60 while maintaining excellent image quality and reliable performance across a wide range of production environments.

Advanced AI-powered auto-tracking technology allows the camera to automatically follow a selected subject without continuous operator intervention. Users can quickly switch between full-body, half-body, and close-up framing, while intelligent tracking algorithms help maintain smooth and accurate subject positioning. Custom auto-tracking functions enable a specific individual to be selected and tracked, reducing interference from other people or moving objects within the scene.

A key advantage of the PTC-285T is its HDBaseT connectivity. Video, control, power, and tally signals can be transmitted over a single CAT-6 cable, simplifying installation and reducing cabling complexity. This makes the camera particularly well suited for fixed installations and long-distance deployments where streamlined infrastructure and reliable signal transmission are essential.

The camera supports simultaneous HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI, HDBaseT, and streaming outputs, providing flexibility for modern production workflows. Dual-stream functionality and support for RTSP, RTMPS, SRT, and other streaming protocols allow direct streaming to multiple destinations while integrating easily into IP-based production environments.

For control and integration, the PTC-285T supports RS-422, DVIP, VISCA over IP, ONVIF Profile S, and web-based management. Operators can remotely control pan, tilt, zoom, presets, and image settings through Datavideo controllers, the PTZ View Assist application, or browser-based interfaces.

Advanced image processing features include 3D noise reduction for improved low-light performance and intelligent PTZ speed adaptation for smooth camera movement. With an 80-degree horizontal field of view, support for H.264 and H.265 compression, and availability in both black and white finishes, the PTC-285T offers a versatile solution for professional 4K video production and automated tracking applications.
