Featuring a 12G SDI input with advanced standards conversion, the encoder accepts any professional SDI source in HD or Ultra HD and can automatically downconvert signals when needed. Its SDI loop output enables seamless pass‑through to additional monitors or recorders, while the SDI and HDMI monitor outputs allow operators to view program feeds, signal status and metadata during live production. The built‑in USB‑C webcam output ensures immediate compatibility with conferencing and streaming software, making it appear as a high‑end webcam to applications on Mac, Windows and Linux.
With native support for HDR metadata including Hybrid Log Gamma and ST2084 levels from 300 to 4000 nits, the Streaming Encoder 4K is ready for modern HDR production environments. It embeds up to sixteen channels of SDI audio and provides two‑channel HDMI monitoring audio, ensuring perfect synchronization for multi channel broadcast applications. A front‑panel control interface with a 2.2 inch color display, transport buttons and a precision spin knob gives operators a fast and intuitive way to adjust settings, start or stop streams and monitor key information.
Connectivity options include 10/100/1000 Ethernet for direct internet streaming, as well as USB‑C tethering for 4G and 5G mobile data. A REST‑based control API allows external automation, control integration and remote management, while support for remote camera control, tally and talkback makes it suitable for multi camera broadcast systems. Compatible with widely used production software through the DeckLink API, the encoder integrates easily into both studio systems and mobile production kits.
