This professional audio embedder is built to insert high‑fidelity analog or digital audio into SD, HD and Ultra HD 6G‑SDI video signals, making it an essential tool for complex modern broadcast environments. Designed for studios, mobile production units and post‑production facilities, it supports SDI video formats up to 1080p60 in HD and up to 2160p30 through its 6G‑SDI architecture. This ensures compatibility with both traditional HD workflows and emerging Ultra HD systems, while maintaining outstanding reliability and signal integrity. The device’s automatic SD, HD and 3G‑SDI detection streamlines daily operation by removing the need for manual configuration when switching between different video standards.

The unit embeds up to four channels of balanced analog audio or eight channels of AES/EBU digital audio directly into the SDI stream. This makes it ideal for integrating audio from professional mixers, analog sources or digital audio systems into routing networks, recorders and switchers. Thanks to 48 kHz and 24‑bit sampling, audio is preserved with broadcast‑grade clarity. The embedder also features a redundant SDI input that automatically takes over if the primary feed is lost, ensuring uninterrupted operation during live production or critical recording tasks. Its compliance with SMPTE standards including SMPTE 259M, 292M, 296M, 372M and 424M level B guarantees broad interoperability across industry‑standard infrastructure.

To accommodate 4K workflows, this model offers 6G‑SDI bandwidth, enabling precise embedding into Ultra HD video signals. Full support for 2K DCI formats ensures cinema‑grade compatibility, making the unit versatile across both broadcast and digital film environments. Its internal SDI reclocking stabilises long cable runs by minimizing jitter, preserving image and audio synchronisation even in complex routing systems. Configuration is managed via USB, allowing quick setup and firmware updates through the provided utility software.
