Built to handle everything from standard definition signals to full Ultra HD and cinematic 4K DCI formats, it provides a dependable link between high‑end SDI systems and consumer or professional HDMI displays. Thanks to its 12G‑SDI architecture, the unit supports frame rates up to 2160p60, making it suitable for modern high‑frame‑rate Ultra HD workflows used in live production, grading suites and field monitoring. The converter processes SDI video at 4:2:2 precision and supports a full range of SDI rates including 270 Mb, 1.5G, 3G, 6G and 12G, allowing seamless integration into both legacy and next‑generation pipelines.
Designed for monitoring accuracy, the device includes support for loading a 33‑point LUT through the companion software utility. This makes it possible to calibrate connected HDMI displays, match cameras during on‑set work or view custom look profiles when preparing material for post production. The unit’s SDI loop output maintains full signal integrity, allowing downstream devices to receive an uncompromised feed while the HDMI output drives external monitors. Its support for DCI frame rates such as 4Kp24, 4Kp47.95 and 4Kp48 enhances compatibility with digital cinema workflows, ensuring filmmakers and colourists can rely on consistent visual reproduction.
