Its architecture is based on a streamlined, all in one approach where both the control panel and connections are integrated into a single lightweight housing. This makes it ideal for mobile setups, small control rooms or event spaces where quick deployment and dependable signal handling are essential. With SDI connections replacing HDMI, the unit integrates naturally into professional broadcast environments, supporting longer cable runs and delivering stable, noise‑free transmission.
The system includes four standards converted SDI inputs, ensuring each connected device is instantly compatible even when sources run at different formats or frame rates. Input re‑sync is available on all SDI inputs, providing smooth switching regardless of camera or device timing. This capability is highly valuable for fast paced productions where multiple sources must be mixed without technical interruptions. Two SDI outputs offer routing flexibility, allowing operators to deliver the program feed to monitors, recorders or external systems while maintaining efficient signal distribution.
A well‑designed front panel gives operators direct access to source selection, transitions and video effects. Large buttons enable tactile switching and reduce the need for constant on‑screen interaction. The integrated DVE permits picture in picture compositions, enhancing live content with layered visuals for commentary, interviews or instructional formats. A built in chroma key engine expands creative possibilities, supporting virtual backgrounds for streaming, presentations or hybrid events. The media pool holds still graphics for titles or logos, allowing streamlined branding without external systems.
Audio control is handled by an advanced Fairlight mixer offering EQ and dynamics on each channel. This deep audio processing ensures that productions maintain professional clarity, even when multiple microphones and embedded SDI audio feeds are in use. The system also functions as a USB webcam source, enabling direct integration with streaming and video conferencing applications without additional hardware. These capabilities make it suitable for corporate environments, educational workflows, houses of worship or mobile broadcast teams needing uncompromised SDI‑based switching.
