This high performance live production switcher is engineered to deliver professional multi camera workflows in a compact desktop format. Its integrated control surface provides fast access to essential switching functions for events, streaming productions and studio environments. With eight HDMI inputs, it becomes simple to connect multiple cameras, computers or gaming consoles and manage complex multi angle productions. Each input features full standards conversion, allowing devices of different formats and frame rates to be combined without additional converters or setup adjustments. This flexibility ensures smooth operation when integrating diverse sources during live broadcasts or hybrid presentations.
A range of advanced production tools is built directly into the system, enabling sophisticated broadcast style effects without external hardware. Up to four chroma keyers support high quality green screen and virtual set compositing, while six picture in picture windows and the SuperSource layout engine provide extensive layering capabilities for interviews, commentary overlays or interactive broadcasts. The unit also includes a powerful multiview that can display up to sixteen sources simultaneously. Operators gain clear oversight of cameras, media players, program, preview and status indicators, streamlining decision making in fast paced environments.
Streaming capabilities are integrated through hardware encoded RTMP output over Ethernet or when using a shared mobile connection via USB C. This allows direct streaming to popular platforms without needing a computer. Recording functions are equally versatile, with support for external drive recording through the USB C interface. Files are saved in H.264 format alongside AAC audio and can be edited immediately after capture. The internal Fairlight audio mixer provides comprehensive control, including an eleven input two channel mixer with gain controls, level and peak metering and enhanced processing such as compression, gating, limiting and six band parametric equalisation. This ensures broadcast ready sound for every production.
Connections include dual USB C ports for recording, control and webcam output, plus two independent HDMI outputs that can be used for program, multiview or auxiliary monitoring feeds. The system is compatible with a wide range of external control surfaces including ATEM Micro Panel and ATEM Advanced Panels, allowing operators to scale their workflow to studio requirements. With direct Ethernet connection for control, updates and streaming, the switcher integrates into both small and large installations while maintaining ease of use.
