The Teradek CTRL.3 is a professional-grade 3-axis wireless lens controller designed for precision control of focus, iris, and zoom across demanding film and broadcast environments. Engineered with an ergonomic design and aerospace-grade aluminum housing, CTRL.3 features a large illuminated focus knob with magnetic encoder, customizable button layout, and flexible mounting options including Arri rosette and ¼-20 threads. It offers up to 1.524 meters of wireless range using FHSS technology and supports Bluetooth pairing with the Teradek RT iOS app for remote configuration, lens mapping, and firmware updates. CTRL.3 includes built-in lens mapping that auto-calibrates lenses to pre-marked focus and iris rings, streamlining setup and reducing downtime on set. When paired with SmallHD monitors, it enables real-time lens data overlays including focal distance, iris, and zoom directly on screen, allowing camera assistants to maintain visual focus while pulling. The controller supports camera run/stop for RED, ARRI, Sony, Phantom, and LANC-compatible cameras, and integrates seamlessly with MDR.X and MDR.S receivers, MOTR.X, MOTR.S, MK3.1 motors, and TOF.1 rangefinder. Powered by a removable LP-E6 battery, CTRL.3 delivers up to 36 hours of continuous operation, making it a reliable and versatile tool for any production setup.
