This studio focused monitoring solution is designed to give camera operators absolute confidence in live production environments. Built around a large 7 inch HDR touchscreen, it delivers exceptional clarity and visibility even under strong studio lighting. With a native resolution of 1920 by 1200 and an impressive brightness level of 2000 nits, critical focus, exposure and framing decisions can be made instantly and accurately.
The integrated touchscreen does far more than display an image. It provides full access to Blackmagic OS camera controls, allowing operators to adjust frame rate, shutter, iris, ISO, white balance and timecode directly from the display. On screen overlays such as focus peaking, frame guides, histograms, zebra and false color are all available, giving precise visual feedback during fast paced live productions.
Physical controls complement the touchscreen for tactile operation. Dedicated knobs for brightness, contrast and focus peaking allow quick adjustments without diving into menus. Customizable function buttons and a push button dial make it easy to recall presets or navigate settings, which is essential when working on air. A large talent facing LED tally light with interchangeable camera numbers ensures clear communication in multi camera studio setups.
For flexible positioning, the unit features built in grab handles and an articulated yoke with variable tension pivots. This allows smooth forward, backward, pan and tilt adjustments independent of the camera body. A detachable, foldable sunshade is included to maintain visibility in challenging lighting conditions.
Connectivity is streamlined through a single locking USB C cable that carries video, power, metadata and camera control, reducing cable clutter and improving reliability. It mounts securely using a quick release V Lock bracket and is specifically designed for seamless integration with URSA Cine systems in professional studio and live broadcast workflows.
