Share up to four SSDs over 10G Ethernet with global sync and HDMI monitoring. Ideal for fast, collaborative media workflows in film and broadcast.
The Blackmagic Cloud Dock 4 is a high-performance network storage interface designed to share up to four independent SSDs or U.2 disks over a 10G Ethernet network. It enables instant access to media files without the need for copying, making it ideal for collaborative editing, color grading, audio post-production, and VFX workflows.
Each of the four disk slots supports high-speed SSDs, including U.2 NVMe drives, delivering data transfer rates up to 900 MB/s depending on the disk used. The unit features four 10G Ethernet ports for simultaneous multi-user access with low latency and fast responsiveness. This ensures smooth performance even when handling massive 12K Blackmagic RAW files.
The Cloud Dock 4 supports Blackmagic Cloud sync, allowing global file distribution and local caching for fast editing across multiple locations. An HDMI monitor output provides real-time visual feedback, including storage maps, sync status, user activity, and network performance graphs. Each disk slot includes LED indicators to show activity status.
The device is housed in a compact rack-mountable design, making it easy to integrate into studio racks or DIT carts. It includes an IEC power socket for global AC compatibility and is easily repairable, with each slot using an individual PCB assembly.
