This dual screen SDI monitor is built for professional environments where dependable, space efficient picture monitoring is essential. Its design features two independent eight inch LCD displays mounted in a compact three rack unit chassis that is less than one inch deep, making it ideal for broadcast racks, post production setups and live event systems where every centimetre matters. Each screen delivers sharp TFT display performance with a resolution of 800 by 480 pixels, fast response and a colour depth of over sixteen million tones, allowing accurate monitoring of image detail and colour. The slim profile and low power requirement also make the unit well suited to flyaway kits or mobile installations where heat and weight must be kept to a minimum.

The system supports an extensive range of video formats, automatically switching between SD, HD and 3G SDI standards without operator intervention. This includes compatibility with NTSC and PAL interlaced formats, multiple progressive HD frame rates from twenty three point nine eight to sixty frames per second, as well as 2K DCI formats in both progressive and PsF modes. Video sampling is handled at high quality 4:2:2 and 4:4:4, ensuring precise reproduction for critical monitoring applications. Signal looping is reclocked for clean distribution to downstream equipment, allowing the monitor to be inserted into complex routing chains without degrading signal integrity.

For facility wide integration, the device includes Ethernet connectivity for remote configuration. Operators can adjust settings for either or both displays from a central workstation, simplifying alignment across large multi monitor installations. USB connectivity allows firmware updates using the supplied software utility. Integrated tally via a nine pin D connector provides clear visual feedback for on air status, making the screens suitable for control room and studio environments. Displays can be rotated for optimal viewing angle when mounted at unconventional heights or positions.

Power is supplied by a universal twelve volt unit with international adapters, offering flexibility for global deployments. With robust SDI compliance including SMPTE 259M, 292M, 296M, 372M and 424M, the monitor fits easily into professional workflows requiring consistent, accurate and dependable monitoring. Its combination of dual screens, wide standard support, remote management and compact dimensions makes it a versatile choice for broadcast, production and live event monitoring applications.
