The Blackmagic Ultimatte 12 HD Mini is a compact, professional-grade real-time compositing processor designed to bring broadcast-quality keying to HDMI-based workflows. It features the same advanced image processing algorithms and internal color space as the larger Ultimatte 12 models, delivering exceptional edge handling, color separation, and spill suppression for photorealistic results.
Tailored for fixed-camera virtual sets and live production environments, the Ultimatte 12 HD Mini supports 3G-SDI and HDMI connections, making it ideal for use with consumer cameras and ATEM Mini switchers. It includes built-in frame stores, allowing users to load background stills directly into the device without requiring external video sources. This enables complete compositing within the unit, simplifying setup and reducing hardware costs.
The device supports resolutions up to 1080p60 and is compatible with SMPTE standards including 259M, 292M, 296M, and 424M. It offers auto detection of SD and HD formats and integrates seamlessly with Ultimatte Software Control or Ultimatte Smart Remote 4 via Ethernet.
