The Blackmagic Web Presenter HD is a compact, professional-grade streaming processor designed to simplify live broadcasting. It features a built-in H.264 hardware encoder that allows direct streaming via Ethernet to platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and more. You can also connect a 4G or 5G smartphone to use mobile data for streaming on the go.
The device includes a 12G-SDI input with standards conversion, making it compatible with a wide range of video sources. It supports streaming in HD resolutions up to 1080p60 using RTMP and SRT protocols. The USB-C output functions as a webcam, allowing you to connect to any computer and use popular video software like Zoom, Skype, OBS Studio, and Microsoft Teams.
For monitoring, the Web Presenter HD offers both HDMI and SDI outputs with technical overlays including video preview, audio meters, trend graphs, and streaming status. The built-in control panel features a 2.2-inch color display for quick access to key information. Ethernet supports 10/100/1000 BaseT for live streaming, remote control, and firmware updates.
The unit is housed in a rugged one-third rack-width design, making it ideal for portable setups, studio installations, and integration into larger broadcast systems. It supports closed caption embedding (CEA-608 and CEA-708) and remote control via REST API over Ethernet, enabling advanced automation and integration.
