This flagship network storage system is engineered for the most demanding film, television and broadcast environments, where enormous media files must be accessed instantly by large teams without compromise. Built around a powerful flash‑based architecture, it delivers exceptional bandwidth and ultra‑low latency, ensuring that editors, colourists, audio engineers and VFX artists can all work simultaneously from the same storage without slowdowns. The compact 1 RU rack‑mount design keeps installations clean, quiet and efficient, even in high‑density machine rooms.

At its core, the system uses twelve M.2 NVMe flash memory cards operating together in a RAID 0 configuration, providing a massive 48 TB of ultra‑fast storage. This design eliminates seek times entirely and maintains consistent performance regardless of workload. It is capable of handling extremely demanding formats, including high‑resolution digital cinema files and complex multicamera timelines, while maintaining smooth playback and responsive editing across many users.

Connectivity is designed for scalability and future‑proofing. Four integrated 10 Gbit Ethernet ports allow multiple high‑performance workstations to connect directly, while a dedicated 100 Gbit Ethernet QSFP28 port enables integration with high‑capacity core switches and backbone networks. This combination makes it equally suitable for compact post‑production studios and large broadcast facilities. USB‑C connectivity is included for configuration, maintenance and Ethernet‑over‑USB access when required.

Native Blackmagic Cloud integration allows media to be synchronised automatically between multiple locations worldwide. Each site works from a fast local copy of the same files, while proxy workflows enable near‑instant access to timelines as original camera media continues syncing in the background. This dramatically accelerates turnaround times and enables true global collaboration without sacrificing performance.

System monitoring and control are comprehensive and intuitive. A built‑in 2.2‑inch front‑panel LCD displays storage name, capacity and usage, while SDI and HDMI monitor outputs provide a live graphical overview of user activity, cloud sync status and network throughput. Visual status indicators clearly show normal operation or alert operators to disk or power issues, ensuring confidence in mission‑critical workflows.
