The Datavideo PD-6A is a professional AC-to-DC power distribution center designed to provide reliable and centralized power management for broadcast, AV, and live production equipment. Housed in a standard 19-inch, 1U rack-mount chassis, it is suitable for both fixed installations and mobile production environments where multiple devices require a stable power source.
The unit features eight DC power outputs, allowing a single PD-6A to supply power to up to eight compatible devices simultaneously. Each output delivers 48V DC at up to 60 watts, while the system provides a combined maximum power capacity of 500 watts. This centralized design helps simplify power distribution and reduces the need for multiple individual power supplies within a production setup.
Designed for professional reliability, the PD-6A automatically adapts to 100–240V AC power sources operating at either 50Hz or 60Hz, making it suitable for use in a wide range of international installations and production environments. Integrated DC and AC overload protection safeguards connected equipment and enhances operational security.
For uninterrupted operation, the PD-6A incorporates redundant hot-swappable power supplies. This design allows power modules to be replaced without shutting down the system, helping maintain uptime in mission-critical production applications.
Each DC output is equipped with an LED status indicator that provides immediate visual confirmation of operational status. The robust construction and durable rack-mount design ensure reliable performance in demanding studio, broadcast, and live event environments.
The PD-6A is compatible with Datavideo CB-22H and CB-23H all-in-one cables, the DDC-4012H DC-DC converter, and the VP-605H all-in-one cable extender, making it an integral component in larger Datavideo production infrastructures.
